the fool looks like a finger pointing to the sky
what a fantastic past few days. to my girls, sorry for not joining you at the fireworks thing yesterday, I heard it went very well, hehe. in my defence I had a family dinner, and you know how long those damn dinners are.
yesterday I went to funan with the entire family to view all the laptops available. I am not kidding. after collecting brochures and pretending to know how much a gigahertz really is (or however you spell it you know what I DON'T CARE), I finally decided on a Fujitsu Tablet PC, model T-something-something. I got the greenlight from my brother who knows a reasonable amount about computers, so I suppose that's it! tomorrow I'm gonna get it and hooray that's one thing I can cross out from my list.
after dinner my parents went home, then the Brady Bunch decided to stick around, intending to head down to Mind Cafe again to play boardgames. someone realised it'd be more worth it to actually
purchase boardgames than to pay $2.50 an hour to play them at a cafe, so oh my goodness my brother took it seriously and went to buy Risk and Cluedo at Raffles Shopping Centre. he spent about $90 I think. I guess this is what they call an 'investment.'
so the 6 of us went back to my place where we played til about 5am. we bought alot of food and screamed and laughed and hoped my parents won't be pissed the next morning. I think I lost at Risk, but you can't really blame me- I've never been good in world domination. I had no clue what was going on. interestingly enough, I was actually 'on a roll' at one point, according to the Bunch, because I kept on getting 5s and 6s on my dice and was able to defend Egpyt with only one soldier. huh. go figure.
Cluedo was fun because I cheated (yet somehow didn't win). I really had fun last night with my siblings and the other halves. things have been better eversince we've grown up because I remember when I was little there was a lot of unnecessary tugging of hair and fighting among the three of us. now that I'm back in my hall at St Elsewhere I think I'm starting to miss them a little bit. sigh. here's to a long week ahead.
