life's like an hourglass, glued to the table
okay, I admit. I'm really pressed for time. I have two speeches to prepare and four research journals to pour over and analyse by Friday. by tonight I should be done with the speeches and my reviews for the paper, since I'm planning to spend the whole of my Thursday in the newsroom swearing under my breath, wondering why is it that when I plan, I always do it knowing I would be procrastinating horribly.
yesterday my friends and I managed to execute our birthday surprise for two special girls really well. I think they were pissed before they realised we were celebrating their birthday, because I made them walk all the way to the other side of school, only to send a message 10 mintues later saying we're actually somewhere else. as Fahimah would like to say, probably with a grin on her face, "Somebody gonna getta hurt real bad. Somebody."
it was a small celebration and I think they preferred it that way. the plan was to surprise Nab and Fahi after their French class while the rest of us hide in the study room at the rooftop. we decided to make it French-themed because the girls are somehow really passionate about the language, but as you can see in the picture below we didn't dress according to plan. we tried, but I failed (to be fair I think I
kiiindda looked like a french milkmaid).

joyeux anniversaire, girls. you know we love you =]
