this has to be worth 50 cents at least.
well. creating a suitable timetable for yourself sure is a bitch. I got most of the slots I wanted, after lots of swearing and clicking furiously, of course. my baby laptop is so reliable. the dilemma is this- keep Thursdays free and go home late on Fridays, or have a miserable class on Thursdays to end Fridays at 3.30pm? I'm thinking it doesn't matter cos I'll be stuck in school doing something for the paper anyway. but still. doesn't hurt to dream you have some freedom for the weekends.
for now, we shall wait til it's time to frantically get a place in my playwriting class. Fastest Fingers First sucks, because mine are fat and slow.
anyway, softball game post-mortem - we lost, but with much dignity! my school doesn't have a lot of boys, and when we do they are not men. (7 out of 10 SCI students are smart women. the rest have penises.) I really like my team though, especially the catcher because he's really amusing. the Business kids, on the other hand, have obviously played softball in their previous Junior Colleges (which I assume were either VJC or RJC, or whatever). tomorrow we're playing against the Bio-Chem geeks, and I really, really hope they'll live up to their name.
or maybe it's true what they say- CS students are all talk and write, and no run or play ball.
on a happier note, the SCI boys' basketball team didn't lose as bad as they used to! Zi Liang said we lost by 30 points instead of 50 points in 2005 (I think). that, my friend, is just fucking cool.
