couldn't put this together with the previous one; time for a light-hearted entry.
I had a little reunion with my old friends yesterday at PCC, VivoCity. I try to bring almost everybody there because it really is becoming one of my favourite places in Singapore. they all still seem the same. I don't know why we try and meet up now and then, but something amazing must've happened 3 years ago for us to want to stick together even after going our separate ways. nobody's in the same school as anybody now, which is pretty ironic, considering this great group started in one tiny SRJC classroom in 2004.
note for future Gap customers- be ready to spend alot, alot over there, especially if you're into their leather bags WHICH, I think, are made of sacred cows because they are bloody overpriced.
after that I headed to Somerset to meet Rizan so we could take advantage of the privilege of knowing someone who works at Esprit. Nora gave my boyfriend discounts for this one polo tee he's been wanting to buy, but in true Rizan fashion he ended up spending $200 (after saving $200, okay!) on nearly half the store. what can I say? he was born to be dishy, I could almost eat him with a spoon.
anyway, in case you thought I'd forgotten- I hadn't; the first time he saw me yesterday with my haircut, he laughed and called me Willy Wonka. it's funny because I thought of that name first and told him, but unfortunately for him he had to use it against me. see here's the rule- a girl can call herself fat, but it doesn't mean she's fat, neither does it mean the boyfriend has the right to call her fat. without thinking, tell her that she is always thin. ALWAYS THIN.
the same rule applies to other issues such as Is she prettier than me? and Do I look like Willy Wonka?
the answer is always no.
