An Inconvenient Truth- it's November already.
how can it be November already? this means that in 2 weeks, I'll be sitting for my papers. in 1 month I'll be in KL. in 4 months I'll be 20.
I can't be turning 20 this fast. why is 2007 coming so quickly? it's been such, such a good year. I'd be sorry to let 2006 go. I still want to get away with being a teenager. somehow being in Year 1 in Uni isn't such a bad thing. there are so many things that people don't expect you to do. then when you end up surprising them, they sneer, and you gloat.
it's always nice to be the underdog.
a few days ago my best friend sent me an email. it's an unspoken occurrence that we only email each other when we haven't met in a while. the last time I emailed her was when I was working a few months ago. school has kept me happy and busy, but you always want to take a break now and then. I cannot wait for Sunday because a bunch of us are going to jalan raya!
speaking of breaks, Rizan and I managed to steal a few hours in the morning yesterday to catch a movie and do some shopping. okay I did some shopping and ended up late for my meeting in the afternoon. we didn't go to Jurong Point, sorry to disappoint. we went all the way to Vivocity!
anyway. because I don't want to be caught late for another meeting today, I'll just quickly urge everyone to watch An Inconvenient Truth. not only because I like Al Gore (I mean, if you don't like Bushy Bush you most probably will like Al Gore), but because the movie really serves as an excellnt wake-up call to all of us. he said we're suppose to tell everyone we know to watch the movie, so I'm doing just that. so okay, the producers will probably earn more money that way, but they made this movie out of goodwill and I am a big supporter of goodwill.
at least, I like to
think they had good intentions.
