tomorrow: one of the greatest labour-saving devices of today
coming home on weekends has been a good idea. by sheer luck I bumped into my best friend on the train on my way back from Jurong Island, so thank God for having the initiative to take my face out of my readings. I swear I am only a nerd when I'm commuting to and from school, and nowhere else.
another week of school passes, with much success. I've already a routine of my own which I will try to stick to for the next few months. yes yes, very predictable, I know. trust me I'd hate to make any surprises right now, so if predictablility's the way to go then I'd gladly follow.
on Sunday morning my family and I had breakfast at Banquet, Raffles Hospital. I suspect it's my parents' idea, because no one else would bother to eat at 8am on Sun-freaking-days. as critical as I sound, I must say our relationship has somehow improved tremendously, with me wanting to open up and tell them how school has been, down to the mundane details of what I wore and why, that I recently spoke up in class and had a blast doing so (I did! I did!) and that my favourite subject so far is Media Writing. as pedantic as the lecturer is, she kinda grows on you, thick-accent-meant-to-be-made-fun-of and all.
