this is how the internet really helps.
omg I finally have a way to contact people beyond NTU. this is great, the borrowing of cables and whatever from school for people like me.
anyway, Nab and I have experienced our first night at our new hostel! the room looks so much better now. Mum said I packed as if I didn't wanna go home- I didn't want to tell her she was absolutely right, ho ho. I've decorated the noticeboard with pictures only for now, and I can't help but grin each time I look at them. my new bedsheets have proven to be very comfortable, and the toilet no longer frightens me! hooray to growing up. hooray to an awesome roommate. hooray to going grocery shopping and only buying necessities like plain biscuits instead of coming home with new clothes wondering where the hell they came from.
I think, I thiinnnnkk. I'm starting to grow up.
tomorrow is orientation! and Fahimah's already called us so we're going to meet her outside our tiny school building and then march in together like that was where we were meant to be all along. nothing will scare us, not even that essay we have to write about Plagiarism, or that we have readings to do eventhough school has barely started. I still need to type an online introduction about myself, and I already know I'll sound like a fool. sigh. this is how some things don't change.
I wish I had my capt-granny-underpants girls with me.
