an exciting day begets an excited blogger
I had an excellent day.
now I truly believe I made the right choice coming to SCI. I have never felt more sure about what I want to do, knowing that I will not be forced to take up modules just to maintain a good GPA. there is no econs or maths class to discourage me from attending. no teachers whose knowledge I am uncertain of.
the professors at SCI are extremely approachable. it really helps that we have a hot sub-dean who looks like Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I don't why or how, but I'm sure it helps. we have a lecturer who talks like Martin Yan; I caught myself wondering how he'll look like in an apron.
coursemates so far have been great to talk to. Nab and I spent a whole day laughing over everything with them, getting lost together and poking fun at people like I have always been capable of. I suppose I'll have to start doing it with new friends someday, so there's no harm starting early. our neighbours have finally moved into the empty room next to ours, and they seem to be really friendly business freshies who will most probably drop by to borrow sugar one day. or bake cookies for us, I don't know. I have secretly vowed to be friendly either way.
next week school starts officially for us. looking at all the subjects I'm taking this semester, I can't help but want to start on my assignments straightaway. I thought it'd be a smart thing to intentionally plagiarise for my essay on How To Prevent Unintentional Plagiarism, just to be funny and see how Shawn will react (we've been asked to call him by his first name.) I'll think about this, I really will. I mean when else are you allowed to screw up on schoowork if not on your first one?
being completely new to all this, I am extremely tempted to list down why I love my little school so much. we should honestly save that for another day. for now I'd just like to announce I hope to do really well in media writing and journalism & publishing, because everybody knows I suck in IT.
