when the boyfriend's away, I come out to play.
firstly, I've decided I like going to the airport, because it's the only time you see Singaporeans hugging each other. other than that, we're a pretty unemotional nation. (cept for this couple at the departure hall, where this man was pinching his girlfriend's butt just before saying goodbye. they're probably groping each other with or without an airport. sweet.)
anyway, yesterday I was out with Ah Hui with a massive determination to piss all my money away. 6 hours, 8 shopping bags and many, many dollars later, we came home wondering what the hell happened to us. I looked down at my hands and saw them clutching all sorts of things. I looked at Hui Yun and almost laughed because she had this utterly confused expression on her face. "my mother will kill me." priceless.
personally I find alot of joy in shopping. I don't really regret spending, because like I told her yesterday- my life is empty, and I'm trying to fill this hole in my heart with as many pretty tops as I can. [she finds me hilarious actually] it's quite pathetic, but at least we look good doing it! with Mat in Tekong, my girlfriends busy with work etc, sister in Hong Kong and my body too thin to be dragged to the gym to lose any sort of fats, what else is a girl to do?
that aside, I just realised Rizan's gonna be away longer than I thought. perhaps he told me before, but as usual I wasn't listening. erm, because I was staring at his cute face? haha babe! if you're reading this, come home soon please. so we can go out and eat you-know-what at you-know-where. =]
[don't you just hate it when couples talk in code?]
oh and to my dear precious blog readers (that means all 2 of you) please, please don't watch X-men, especially if you're expecting to be blown away. you'll be better off watching Over the Hedge. I don't even like turtles but you know, in cartoon form they're mighty cute.
