greedygreedygreedy tryna have your cake and eat it too
I've been walking around town the past two days [after studying earlier in the day, don't worry] and I think my knee's about to give way soon. it's too bad my old injury's coming back, and it's actually quite embarrassing to admit you're not as strong as you used to be. in other words, HOW BAD COULD SHOPPING BE FOR ME TO CAUSE A PAIN IN MY LEFT KNEE JUST LIKE THREE YEARS AGO!?
oh oh but seriously I had so much fun. was out with my best friend on Saturday, and the Study Buddies on Sunday. we camped out at Starbucks next to Cali Fitness in the afternoon and the people who walked in looked all toned and healthy. I naturally felt jealous, and tried to hunch a little bit more so no one would notice I didn't fit into the picture so much. a friend joined us at night, after we had dinner at Delifrance and luxurious butterscotch ice-cream. couldn't stop giggling the moment he came and I have no idea why. we pretended to be his fashion consultants and I don't think we were very useful. will thank my study buddies when/if I get my As.
speaking of the A levels, I realise I have 17 days left to my first paper. to the girls taking MLEP/MLA next Monday- you'll do great, don't you worry =] just think: exactly a month from now we'll be FRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
okay. didn't mean to get carried away.
oh Al called yesterday afternoon and gleefully reported a few things to me, which I found completely uncanny and not surprising. I mean, I hate to say I told you so but I told you so. I'll keep my mouth shut because it's more appropriate that way. you know I'm definitely capable of going on and on about how I love being right and how you should've listened to me a year ago but I'll practise self-control and let you overcome this in your own specific little way. that person gets to all of us, darling. was a matter of time before he got to you too.
