mothers and sisters
as you can probably already tell, I'm in an excellent mood right now. besides the fact that people are tagging redundant things on my blog [I've removed the tagboard nyahaha!] and my biggest problem is still the horrendous acne on my face, I've learnt to cope with life so it's getting much, much better.
oh by the way, I've already checked with my mum, and my brother's still getting engaged. she's been real excited lately, and I'd really like to know what the big fuss is all about. she doesn't want me around the house tomorrow, and when I asked why she said "The Others are coming over to help me cook." by The Others she meant her sisters, who are 5 of the loudest women I have ever known. the eldest one is wickedly funny...she likes to ask me when I'm getting married. I like to humour her and say very soon, but she'll respond by saying siol this and siol that. I don't quite agree with her liberal use of vulgarities [she's an old woman lah can!] so I've stopped giving smart replies to her questions. anyway she's family, so I suppose I'll always respect her nonetheless.
oh oh did I mention my mum has nicknames for all her siblings? I think one of them's called Fish, and another's called Duck. I once asked Mum what hers was; she just smiled and said she won't tell. I'd really like to know though. for the record, if she was my sister, I'd want her to call me Cat. =]
